One of the most popular holiday destinations in the world are Spain’s Balearic Islands. The islands are an archipelago to the west of the Mediterranean Sea close to the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula. From largest to smallest, the four main islands are Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera. The islands form an autonomous community of Spain, with Palma as the capital city.

However Ibiza offers so much more that a vibrant nightlife, the island offer stunning scenery and several traditional whitewashed villages. Many resorts on the island are catered towards a more relaxing, tranquil experience making it an ideal spot for families or older travellers wanting a quiet break.
